Government measures to tackle the health crisis are leading to the cancellation of french festivals until July 15. Aubert de Villaine and Bernard Hervet, respectively President and Director of Musique & Vin au Clos Vougeot are forced to cancel the festival which was to take place from June 20 to 28, Spectators who have already purchased their tickets will be reimbursed within 10 days. We are already imagining other musical reunions and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you soon. The joy of being together will be all the greater!

We are pleased to announce a fall week-end Musique & Vin 2020 on November 6th and 7th. You'll have the pleasure to hear Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet, internationally renowned artists and friends of the Festival, but you will also have the opportunity to discover our Young Talents of tomorrow.

Since the latest measures announced by the President of the French Republic establishing a new confinement, Musique & Vin is obliged to cancel the fall weekend of the Festival scheduled for November 6th and 7th. Nevertheless, we are very happy to be able to offer you a virtual extract of the Young Talents Concert with Júlia Pusker, violin, Charles Hervet, cello and Valentin Cotton, piano. They play for you the Allegro moderato of the Piano trio in B-flat major, Opus 97 "To the Archduke" by Ludwig van Beethoven. Because more than ever, we need music to share! Take care of yourself.

On October 22, the American friends of Music & Vin au Clos Vougeot were invited to share a virtually Burgundy Wine Tasting at Château du Clos de Vougeot. The tasting was followed by a private concert by David Chan, violin, accompanied by Matthew Polenzani, tenor and Natalia Katyukova, piano and an auction for the benefit of Young Musicians, supported by the Festival. A virtual event organized by Friends of Musique & Vin au Clos Vougeot whose mission is to support the fusion between musicians of international fame and the winegrowers of Burgundy by combining artistic and gustatory pleasure.

Aware of the impact of this crisis on the careers of young musicians, the Festival Musique & Vin wanted to support eight former young talents of the festival, by offering them an exceptional grant. This was made possible thanks to the American association Friends of Musique & Vin Inc. by organizing a virtuel event last October. It consisted of a live tasting via zoom, and two pre-recorded concerts. Adding to that, there was a virtual auction with lots generously offered by the domaines partner of the festival.
